For context

What else you
could be doing, honestly.

We won’t pretend we’re the only tool. Here is, fairly, what else exists — and what each option costs you in time, money, or both.

  • Reddit’s own API

Free for low usage, then $0.24 / 1k calls. Requires an OAuth app, a developer account, and you to write the code that turns paginated JSON into a usable CSV.

  • PRAW (Python)

Excellent if you’re already a Python developer. Requires API credentials, environment setup, and you to know what to do with comment forests.

  • General comment scrapers

Cover many platforms shallowly. They tend to miss collapsed “more replies,” flatten hierarchy, and treat Reddit like just-another-source — when Reddit's structure (depth, AMA conventions, batched loading) is exactly what you want preserved.

  • Copy-paste

Free, slow, lossy, and miserable for any thread with more than ten comments.

Pricing FAQ

Common
questions.

Why is Free capped at 20 comments?
The 20-comment cap is enough to try the extractor on a real thread — see the hierarchy, see the export formats, see the insights — without committing to a subscription. Plus removes the cap entirely. If a thread you care about has more than 20 comments (most do), you’ll know quickly whether unlimited is worth $4.99/mo to you.
Do you offer a free trial of Plus or Pro?
No trial — Free is the trial. Install it, run it on a real thread, see what 20 comments feels like. If unlimited extraction would save you time, upgrade to Plus. If you want the full research workflow on top — saved history, Hooks, AI angles — upgrade to Pro. If neither would save you time, don’t.
What’s the difference between Plus and Pro?
Plus ($4.99/mo) is the export tool, uncapped: unlimited comments per thread plus one-click Google Docs export. Built for people who just want clean comment data out of Reddit. Pro ($12.99/mo) is the full research suite: everything in Plus, plus saved thread history, the heuristic Hooks generator, AI-generated angles, cross-thread pattern detection, full hook batches, and API access.
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?
Yes, both directions, anytime. Upgrades are prorated; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period. If you downgrade to Free, the 20-comment cap returns on new extractions; previously saved exports stay on your disk.
Can I switch between monthly and yearly?
Yes. Change billing cadence anytime from the Profile tab. Yearly saves about 20%.
How do I cancel?
One click in the Profile tab inside the extension. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period; no further charges, no retention scripts, no exit interview.
Refunds?
If you upgrade, use it once, decide it’s not for you, email us within 14 days. No questions.
Is there a team plan?
Not yet. Each license is per-user. If you need multi-seat licensing, email us — we’re prioritizing based on demand.
Do you store my Reddit data?
No. Extraction runs in your browser, capped or uncapped. Paid features that call our API (Docs export on Plus; Hooks and AI angles on Pro) only send the specific thread you choose to send. We never store, log, or analyze the contents.
